Review: The Pit (1981)

If you like movies with perverted pre-teens, monsters, ghosts, talking Teddy-bears, nudity, voyeurism, gore and murder, this is the right movie for you!

“Jamie, just do as you’re told!”

This is the story of the twelve-year-old Jamie, a creepy perverted boy with no friends. Except his teddy-bear and some flesh-eating monsters in a pit in the forest. A great place to bring the people you hate the most.

Hahaha, what a messed up and crazy feature from Canada. This is the perfect b-movie. The first part of the movie works really good as a psychological study of a troubled young kid, before it missess the point of “the pit” being something from the kid’s mind. It’s now turning in to a crazy monster-film, with all kinds of unstructural weirdness. It’s great b-movie fun, worthy of it’s notoriety.
