“I’m sorry, a floodlamp crashed into your sisters face.”
John is a famous surgeon. When his fiancĂ©e gets her face burned in a freak accident, he see it as his mission to restore her face, even though it means a little nasty killings along the way…
A surprisingly nasty little thriller from the swinging 60’s. The few sleaze and blood sequences spice up the dull and unnecessary scenes. The cool jazz music is unfortunately very misplaced and ruins a could-be creepy atmosphere. But it’s a nasty little treat for the Peter Cushing fans out there. Worth a watch!
As usual Grindhouse Releasing gives us the ultimate blu-ray/dvd package. It looks good, has two different cuts and a shitload of fine extras. This one sets the tone for a long and entertaining evening for the fans.
