“Poor child, who has to cary the bitterness. Born to revenge your mother.”
Already at birth Snowblood was bound to revenge her family. She’s raised by a monk and swordsman for her mother’s last wish: To be a weapon of revenge, to kill the last three bastards who destroyed her family.
A masterpiece of a b-movie. A great story with a bloody trail who takes unexpected turns. The build-up is inventive, the melancholy, the fountains of blood, the music, the backdrop, the great lead-actress, the colouring, the violence, the…everything. A superb classic samurai-revenge flick. Just ask Tarantino what inspired him to do “Kill Bill”. So looking forward to the sequel right now.
