We got shooked by evil, church-burning, animal-killing, black-metal-playing satanists in Norway by the early 90’s. These bunch of happy campers are not one of those.

“In the name of our most exalted God; Satan, Lucifer. I command thee to come forth. Come forth and bestow these blessings of hell upon us!”
We attend a black mass, getting to know the high-priest of the Church of Satan, his followers, neighbours, christians, nude women and other people with an opinion.
A documentary that wants to enlighten, provoke and exploit. Charming to see the interview with the old lady preaching the gospel of Satan. This is clearly a religion/philosophy that came out of the 60’s freedom-movement. A bunch of self confident, egosentric, smart people who thinks otherwise and wants to provoke the establisment. Some might call it sacrilege, I’ll call it a mosh between theatre, philosophy, freedom, carnage and egoism. A funny scene when they discuss the great taboos of the time. A harmless little religion with lots of interesting statements (and talk about masturbation). It’s pretty much an 86 minutes long commercial for “The Church of Satan”.
Something weird serves us with a great dvd double-bill with loads of extras about satanic rituals, witchcraft, gay-sex(!) and much more.
