JWD: Hobo With a Shotgun (2011)

Badass-icon; Rutger Hauer is ‘Hobo With A Shotgun’ in this parody/homage to b-movies of the 80’s/early 90’s.

‘Hobo’ jumps a train and end’s up in this god forsaken town run by an asshole of an coldblooded killer-psycopath and his two like-minded sons; Ivan and Slick. Who ‘Hobo’ really is and where he comes from, we really dont know, but he’s an hard-ass-no-bullshit old-timer and it’s time to clean up this toilet-hole of a town filed with; drugs, rape, prostitution, violence, crooks, gory murders and corupt cops…right!?

This movie is a wet-dream for fans of violent 80’s b-movies like myself and it’s like experiencing a cocktail of Troma movies blended with some of the cheesiest action-flix from good ol’ Cannon and all the clichè’s like questionable acting and akward one lines and situations; keeps falling in your lap like shells from Hobo’s shotgun . You just have to experience it to belive it and the 80’s-like soundtrack alone is reason enogh to dive into it with a case of beer under your arm. One can get bulk ammo too in case they need to figure out protection.

Let’s pray for sequal and hey!; What about Hobo V.S Machete!!?
