“What goes on in Wake Wood is not for everyone!”

Patrick and Louise loses their daughter, Alice in a freak accident. They move to the little rural town of Wakewood to start a new life. But the inhabitants of the village has an old ritual, where they can wake the dead…for three days only. Patrick and Louise wish to see their little daughter again, but something goes wrong.

Certainly a far fetched plot. If you can swallow the plot, it’s still not too good. It’s entertaining enough, but lacks some quality. They should’ve done more with the tension and atmosphere. An ok Irish horror, with a different theme. Loved to see “Littlefinger” from Game of Thrones in the leading role.
