Review: The Fox with a Velvet Tail (1971)

The soundtrack could remind me about a James Bond movie, but the action was definitely not there.

“Violence, as they say, breeds violence.”

Ruth separate from her husband Michel, and falls head over heels in love with the charming Paul. Paul and Ruth use the summer flirting at his summerhouse. Accidents starts happening to Ruth, and she bearly survives. Suddenly Michel comes visit, and more shit starts to happen!

A slow burner that sadly didn’t catch my attention. The cinematography and atmosphere is good enough, but it lacked some edge. It might be my mood this evening, and I will probably check it out again some time in the near future. Anyway, the story is familiar, but there are far better alternatives in the genre.
