Review: Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll (1974)

You can critisize Paul Naschy for all his films, but he’s one hell of a dedicated guy! You will always get good entertainment value, that’s for sure!

“I’ll get you a pair of eyes. They’ll be pretty like the sky, and they’ll last forever.”

An ex-convict looking for a new place to stay and a new job, arrives at a mansion where three eccentric sisters live. He gets a job as a janitor. After he arrives, the village gets haunted by brutal murders. The victims are blond, with blue eyes. Their eyes will be removed and put in a bowl of water.

Naschy aka Jacinto Molina is at it again. A plot full of holes, and a genre-twisting and massively exploitative story. There will be blood, tits and weird conclusions. No monster this time. Anyhow, these movies are always full of charm and dedication! This is not one of his best by far, but still one hell of a fun movie time
