In the plague-ridden 16th century’s France: The inquisitor and his buddies is prowling the countryside for witches and other collaborators of Satan. The line is pretty thin between “good” and evil, and soon the tables are turned.

Perfect exploitation again from Paul Naschy. The film is entertaining from start to finnish, and reminds me a lot of “Mark of the devil”. Love the dedication, scenery and the combination of everything necessary and unnecessary to make this a shining pearl of Spanish low-budget fun.
