“I’ve always taken a very special interest in knots. I find them not only excelent therapy, but most rewarding in the study of character formation. Do you like tying knots, Mrs. Heller?”

A young woman recovering from a nervous breakdown moves with her husband to a boys’ school run by a peculiar headmaster and his wife, and finds herself being terrorized by a mysterious one-armed man, but nobody believes her.

Not much of either dedication or tension in this Hammer-movie from the early 70’s. The casting is good, and it has some memorable scenes, but sadly it drowns in the likes of other movies with similar plots. The acting is good, but hoped for more. Still it’s not a bad movie.
