Review: Bone Tomahawk (2015)

In westerns you often see cowboys that fight against indians. Not THAT often a disgusting, cannibalistic bunch of cave dwelling indians and their pregnant amputee wives.

After an outlaw unknowingly leads a bunch of creepy cannibals into a little settlers town, these “troglodytes” kidnap some of the settlers. Four men decides to ride out and rescue the captives. The journey seems to end in a hellish place, with indians that behaves more like evil monsters than men.

A fresh breath of a western. It’s brutally creepy and disgusting, but also a well written an original piece of filmmaking. The casting is absolutally brilliant, and the characters are built up in a superbly manner. Loved the movie! This is pure movie entertainment, but definitely not for the squemish…
