“You can’t play around with corpses. You know that!”

An outbreak of violent suicides makes forensic pathologist Simona on the edge. She starts to hallucinate about the corpses, getting scared. A priest starts to nose around because of his sisters death. He thinks she got murdered. Soon the two teams up to find the truth. And the truth is closer than first thought.

An unconventional Giallo in familiar Giallo territory. There’s some really nasty scenes, helpless females and plenty of misogyny (the response to your girlfriend’s rape attempt is: “Well, you can’t blame a guy for trying..:”). The Italian world is a man’s world. Greed and murder with no anger is still going strong in 1975. It’s a twisted and entertaining Giallo with an ok soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. Well worth a watch for fans of the genre.
