Review: Jason X (2001)

You know the franchise has spawned out too many sequels when they have to send the antagonist to outer space to race hell.

The year is 2455 and a spaceship picks up the frozen body of Jason and his latest soon-to-be-victim from the earth after an apocalypse. With the newest technology the space crew manage to resurrect both. Jason is still out for blood and no one can feel safe.

Let me begin with the positives: It was better than the last one. Half-way through the movie he enters a cool real-life game that can change the surroundings, and towards the end he gets to be half a robot, looking tough as nails. That aside it was another poor effort with bad acting and a stoopid plot that just fucks up the core of Friday 13th. Not unwatchable, but far from good.

The complete Friday the 13th box is just GREAT! You have audio commentaries, featurettes, interviews, shorts, booklet and merchandise. Whatever you want to know, you’ll get to know.
