“I don’t know what he saw. If it was a real ghost or whatever. But I’m sure he saw something.”

Made as a documentary/reportage. Alice Palmer disappear, and is later found drowned in Lake Mungo. We follow the Palmer family, friends and other connections through interviews and private footage as they deal with the loss of Alice. Soon it seems like she’s haunting their house when she turns up on video-tapes and photographs, but there’s a twist to it all. Layer upon layer gets peeled off, until the naked truth shows its ghostly self.

Found this amateurish film very inventive and entertaining. An original approach to the ghost-story that twists and turns and add new information along the way. Sadly it loses itself a bit towards the end. But an original and well made mockumentary, well worth your time.
