What a story!
Helen lives alone in a big house in the countryside. She invites her new friend, Ann to stay with her. A mystery surrounds the woods and lake outside. And who is the creepy handyman lurking the forest and living beside the house? As Ann tries to find out more she’s pulled deeper into Helen’s twisted mind.

What a movie!
A very good casted movie, especially Angela pleasence is perfect in the role. A twisted and engaging thrillride with loads of atmosphere. This was the English contribution to the Cannes festival in 1974 and was lost until recently. One of the best thrillers/horrors from the early 70’s. A must see!

What a release!
Their joint release with BFI gives a superb visual quality. HD transfer from film negative. The disc is filled with documentaries, interviews, booklet and MM previews. As this is my lim.ed. 570/1000 it’s also included an extra dvd with the documentary: “Larraz on Larraz”.
