When the narcotic-police, Kane watch his colleague getting shot and burn when they get set-up after 14 months of undercover work he follows one of the hoodlums and kill him. He gets suspended. When his colleagues girlfriend, who’s a reporter, also gets killed while she’s rolling up a story about a heroin-ring. Things gets personal and Kane go together with an old Kung-Fu friend and an ex-colleague to find the bastards. There’s of course some love and deceipt inbetween.

This was good fun. The plot is as obvious and cliché-ridden as can be, but the pure action energy is fuckin’ awesome. The body-count is high and that’s mainly due to Chuck Norris kicks and punches. No wonder there’s Chuck Norris facts out there. After the final showdown I was sure that John Woo must have seen this flick. Great action entertainment that also includes two B-movie favourites of mine: Christopher Lee as the villain and Richard Roundtree (“Shaft”) as the chief of police.
