The movie starts of like a bourgeoisie melodrama before it turns into a full blown classic Giallo in the likes of “Les Diaboliques” (which many of the plots in the genre where build upon). A nicely plotted movie with high production values. It’s a bit slow, but never boring. When the twists hit it’s a very enjoyable affair. Cool soundtrack with a great title song (“Why”).One of Lenzi’s best Gialli.
