A group of boyscouts and three young and irresponsible supervisors are camping in the forest for the weekend. They came to the wrong forest. A wild kid with an evil mask and a butcher of a man setting up traps for everybody who enters. A struggle for survival begins, and in the front is the most emotionally challenged boy in the group, Sam.

This could never been an american film. When they have to write “no animals or kids got harmed in the production” you KNOW it’s brutal. This is a great and violent horror with a subtext. Kids need to feel safety and love, and to be able to trust an adult. It’s got a feel of “Lord of the Flies”(1963) to it, some of the characters was even lookalikes. Good characterisations with a bunch of great young actors that made it beliveable and thus even more frightening. Highly recommended!
