After a crash on the countryside in England, an American couple, Margaret and Pete, gets invited to stay in the Mountolive castle. They are surprised to learn that the other arriving guests are expecting them. Mountolive is ill, but the rest of the household is taking care of the couple, maybe to good… After a mysterious murder, the couple realise that there is no escape from the mansion. Something evil and powerful is surrounding them, and has a special task for Margaret.

I like these diabolical 70’s movies, but this was not a new “Omen”. Good casted movie with a lurid theme. It could have been more subtle to keep it more “mysterious”. The music was either perfect or totally inept. The effect of the film has faded over the years, but I had an ok time.
