After finding out that her husband is cheating on her, Sun-jae takes their daughter and moves downtown. But after finding a nice pair of pink shoes (yes, they are actually pink, not red. Something to do with red/pink is a nuance of the same in Korean) shit hits the fan. People gets greedy and needs them, but when stealing them they turn up dead…

Loosely based on a fairytale by H.C. Andersen. It’s a brilliant psychological thriller, maybe getting to deep for it’s own good. Anyway, I loved it. It’s a nightmarish story that is very well made. It’s unpleasant, it’s genuinely scary and it’s a powerful drama about greed and lust. Do yourself a favour and watch it!
