Review: Crooked House (2008)

Ever since my first viewing of the British TV-production of “The Woman in Black”(1989), I’ve been searching for more of the same. No luck this time either…

A suburban teacher finds an old door-knocker outside his newly bought house. When he sees the museum curator he tells the story of the Geap Manor. We get the tale of witchery that took place 500 years ago, then an incident in 1787, in 1927 and the evil is still there in the present.

A british production of a haunted house story. My expectations where high before i put the disc in my player. Love ghost-stories. But unfortunatelly it didn’t pay off. Originally a mini-series in three parts. And they are tied together in an ok way, but the stories are mediocre. The best part was the construction of the ghost in the 1927-part. Excellent made. It was an ok viewing, but not any more.
