“Who better to resurrect Freddy than his maker?”

Ten years after the first “Elm Street”-movie, actress Heather Lagenkamp is offered a role in a final movie based on Wes Craven’s nightmares. Soon it seems that other actors from the first movie suffer from nightmares involving Freddy, even Robert Englund. What’s happening to the crew, and what’s happening to Heather’s son, Dylan?

Finally Wes craven got back in the saddle, ending these “Nightmares” in great fashion. A really cool meta-film (starting a series of horror-meta-films Craven did in the 90’s) done proffessionally in all departments. Even the great score was spot on. And back to where it started with Krueger being a terrible monster rather than a comical super-hero. It needed that after the last movie. A movie for the fans, because it’s got too many references, especially from the first film.

This Collection I’ve seen has it all. All the movies, commentaries, behind-the-scenes and featurettes. It also include an extra bonus-disc. Probably have to check it out as well. I highly recommend this great box-set.
