Review: Massacre Mafia Style (1974)

Holy shit! A homemade movie that makes “The Godfather” look like a Disney movie.

“Hey, “super spook”! Don’t you know when you’re ahead? I’ll take this piece and show it in your ass and blow the top of your head off!”

The son of an Italian mob-boss wants to rise to the top in the Los Angeles crime underworld. Despite his father’s advice he uses brute force to plough his way forward, leaving piles of corpses behind.

With his bad 70’s hairdo, the nightclub-singer Duke Mitchell produced, directed and played in this low-budget mafia flick. It pounds you in the face from the beginning with over-the-top violence and an arsenal of one-liners. It’s entertaining from the first slow-motion killings to the last tear-dripping monologue. It’s a great exploitation movie filled with bloodshed, guts and tits. Grab a beer and enjoy “Massacre Mafia Style”!

Again, an amazing job is done by the Grindhouse Releasing. The transfer is top notch. Loads of extras on both the movie and our cult-hero Duke Mitchell. This is soul-food for any grindhouse fan.
