An ex-Nazi doctor with a fondness of sexually torturing little boys lives in exile in spain with his wife and daughter after the war. After a suicide attempt he ends up in a big iron lung. The big breathing-device is set in their living room. A young man that claims he is a male nurse suddenly appear to take care of the lame man. The young man has other plans and quickly his damaged mind gets to work.

A really disturbing piece of art. The horror of the always pumping iron lung is freakishly scary, even though the doctor can’t move. A well played, well made, atmospheric movie. This is a brutal nightmarish masterpiece, not for the faint-hearted.

A very good quality DVD. Both picture and sound is great. An extra disc with a featurette and a Q&A with the director. Also three of his short films is included. Very nice!
