Review: Killer Cop (1975)

You know the prosecutor in this film is a tough motherfucker, when he goes over to the bombed car, with a dead couple in it, just to warm his hands.

After a bomb goes of in a hotel lobby killing prominent guests from around the world, the narcotic investigator Rolandi goes on a hunt of his own to catch the terrorists. He then reveals ugly leaks of information within the police and press.

A well made “poliziotteschi” with a good story and a good narrative. It’s a non-exploitative, character-driven police flick with good cinematography and a superb soundtrack by Stelvio Cipriani. If you have a taste of tough J&B-drinking investigators and Italian car chases, this is the one for you!
