Derek & Clif are good buddies and are planning to document their world-travel. When they arrive in France, Derek hook up with a nice girl. But when he wakes up all bloody, and the girl has disappeared, he understand that something seriously is wrong with the situation and his general health. They travel on to Italy and it seems like Derek has gained super powers. But there’s a really nasty side-effect… He can’t be out in daylight, and he is in need of fresh blood. Human blood.

Not quite sure how original this idea is, it’s very similar to “Chronicle”(2012) in many ways. Still it feels like something fresh and new. The documentary style works fine. Only the use of their own cameras, and their use of social media keeps it up to date. The acting and the effects works very well. But this “Blade”/”Chronicle” crossover didn’t grip me 100% by the balls. Good though!
